Big things are happening at Schechter!
We’re growing in bold new ways: investing in our students, our spaces and our future.
We express tremendous gratitude to our earliest supporters in this effort and look forward to engaging the broader community in this visionary effort.

Project Timeline
Fall 2025
During the 2025-26 school year, construction will be underway on the first floor classroom wing of the Stein Circle Campus to prepare for Schechter's early childhood program, Gan Shelanu, to move to Stein Circle in Fall 2026. Throughout the year, Kindergarten-Grade 3 classes will take place on the second floor and Pre-Kindergarten classes will take place in the back wing of the first floor.
Summer/Fall 2026
Grand opening of expanded Early Childhood Center on the first floor of the Stein Circle Campus.
Construction begins on the Wells Avenue Campus STEAM Center in the space in the former Gan Shelanu space.
Grade 3 joins the Upper Elementary Division with Grades 4 and 5 at the Wells Avenue Campus.
Spring–Fall 2027
Grand opening of the STEAM Center.
With support from generous donors, our plans include:
The Pucker Family Early Childhood Center
In summer 2026, Gan Shelanu will move to our Lower School campus.
For the first time, all of our youngest learners will be together in one place—creating a vibrant connected early childhood experience. The move will nearly double our preschool capacity and expand our kindergarten pipeline, building a stronger foundation for Schechter’s continued growth.
The Philip and Bernice Krupp STEAM Center
Coming Summer 2027: A new STEAM Center for Grades 3–8.
Once Gan Shelanu moves to Stein Circle, we’ll transform the former preschool space into a 6,000-square-foot hub for hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. With tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics kits, and more, this new center will take STEAM education at Schechter to the next level.
A new Intermediate Division. A stronger future.
Grades 3–5 will move to Wells Avenue, forming a dedicated Intermediate Division designed just for upper elementary learners. Alongside our expanded preschool and new STEAM Center, these bold changes will help Schechter grow, deepen our impact, and shape the Jewish leaders of tomorrow.
