A Joyful Place to Begin

At Schechter, every moment matters in early childhood. We nurture curiosity, creativity, and connection—giving children the strong, joyful foundation they need to grow into confident learners and compassionate friends.

Our classrooms are full of laughter, questions, messy art projects, Jewish holidays, Hebrew language, and the kinds of "aha!" moments that spark a lifelong love of learning.

We are opening even more classes and moving our Gan to 60 Stein Circle for the Fall of 2026.

What we believe and how we teach it

Learning Through Play, Discovery, and Community

We believe kids learn best when they are:

  • Exploring:
Our hands-on, child-centered curriculum invites big questions and creative thinking.

  • Belonging:
Strong relationships with teachers and friends help kids feel safe, seen, and proud of who they are.

  • Growing:
Every child’s voice matters. We support individual growth at just the right pace, with joyful Jewish values woven into every day
