Schechter Boston seeks an experienced educator to join our early elementary team as a Parental Leave Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The specific grade will be determined at a later date. This is an opportunity for a flexible and skilled teacher who is excited to step into an established classroom community, collaborate closely with colleagues, and ensure continuity of high-quality teaching and learning.

Early Childhood Teacher- The Gan (2026-2027)
Schechter Boston is seeking talented, mission-driven Early Childhood Teachers to join the Gan—our Early Childhood program for the 2026-2027 school year. We are hiring teachers for our Toddler classrooms. Teachers work collaboratively with colleagues to create nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
Director of Early Childhood
Schechter Boston is seeking a visionary early childhood educator and strategic leader to serve as Director of Early Childhood (also known as “The Gan”) serving children from 12 months through Pre-K. In Summer 2026, Schechter Boston will open a newly constructed Early Childhood center within our EEC-Grade 2 building, creating an exciting opportunity for growth and innovation. We are seeking a Director to help shape the next chapter.
School Custodian- Part Time (Immediate Opening)
Schechter Boston is looking for a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position performs daily cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance tasks throughout classrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces, ensuring the school facilities meet health, safety, and cleanliness standards. The Custodian plays an important role in supporting the school’s mission by helping create a respectful and well-maintained environment conducive to learning and community life.
Grades 3-5 Hebrew Teacher (Full Time 2026-2027)
Schechter Boston is a Jewish day school in the Boston area serving families from across the Jewish spectrum—from secular to orthodox. We are known for our exceptional Hebrew program, which helps students develop a love of Hebrew and a deep connection to Israel from an early age.
Early Childhood Floater Teacher (Immediate Opening)
Schechter Boston is looking for an EEC Certified Floater Teacher to join Gan Shelanu, our Early Childhood Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience and a love for working with children. We are looking for someone who can create a nurturing and exciting environment for young learners.
Pre-K Teacher Maternity Leave (Immediate Opening)
Schechter Boston is looking to hire a full-time, dynamic, and engaging Maternity Leave Pre-K Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will work 5 days per week from 7:30 am to 4 pm. This is an immediate opening. This position may offer the opportunity for continued employment within the program following the conclusion of the maternity leave term.
