Grades 6-8

Ready for high school. Rooted for life.

Middle School is a time of big questions, growing independence, and finding your voice. At Schechter, students don’t just prepare for high school, they become thoughtful, resilient leaders ready for what’s next.

We challenge students academically, support them personally, and connect everything they learn to who they are and the world they’re becoming a part of.

How we teach it

Own Your Identity, Celebrate Our Community

Middle schoolers at Schechter explore Jewish life with honesty and heart. They wrestle with big ideas, celebrate together, and reflect on what Judaism means to them.

What that looks like:

  • Tefillah that grows with them—more choice, more ownership

  • Israel connections through culture, history, and language

  • Pluralistic learning that values all expressions of Jewish life

  • B'nai mitzvah support and celebrations
