Gan Shelanu, Solomon Schechter’s Early Childhood Program is looking for a native Hebrew Speaker who is eager to promote love of the Hebrew Language through songs, stories and games to toddlers and preschoolers for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Job Description:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities mainly in Hebrew for students 15 months to 4 years old using a variety of media including but not limited to music, literature and games.
• Assist in the planning for Israel curriculum for Gan Shelanu
• Provide support for classroom activities focused around Jewish holidays

• Provide links when possible to be given to parents in order to support curriculum Education and Experience:

• The ideal candidate must be a native Hebrew speaker who is warm, nurturing and passionate about working with young children.

• Bachelor’s Degree and background in education/early childhood education preferred

• Two years of relevant work experience, preferred.
